Requirements

• Active New York State RN license (required)
• BSN required
• Minimum 1 year experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, and/or Critical Care
• Critical care experience required
• Required Certifications (AHA or RQI only): BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Post-Hire Requirements: Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire, CPI certification within 90 days of hire
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Maintains confidentiality and professionalism
• Computer literacy required; EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred

Nice To Haves

• Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) certification within 2 years
• TNCC within 2 years

Responsibilities

• Provides age-appropriate care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development principles and appropriate patient assessment
