About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the 'RN-NEW RATES' position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care across diverse healthcare settings within the United States. This role focuses on applying updated clinical protocols and reimbursement rates to ensure compliance with current healthcare standards and optimize patient outcomes. The RN will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. Additionally, the nurse will serve as a patient advocate, providing education and support to patients and their families while maintaining meticulous documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements. Ultimately, this position aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of nursing services by integrating new rate structures into daily clinical practice, thereby contributing to the overall success of the healthcare organization.

Requirements

  • Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Experience working with updated reimbursement models and clinical documentation improvement.
  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) or similar specialty credentials.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare billing processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead or participate in interdisciplinary care teams and quality improvement projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care by assessing health status, administering treatments, and monitoring patient progress according to updated clinical guidelines and new rate structures.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust individualized care plans that reflect current best practices and reimbursement policies.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care measures to promote informed decision-making and adherence.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, ensuring documentation aligns with new billing rates and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training sessions to stay current with changes in healthcare regulations, reimbursement methodologies, and clinical protocols.
