The Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital (OMH) Birthing Center is a Level 1 community hospital unit featuring 12 LDRP’s. This unit provides care for diverse patient populations, including Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, GYN, Pediatrics, and transitional newborn care within its Special Care Nursery, serving approximately 900 patients annually. Beyond general services for women and children, the department also offers specialized support such as lactation services and Resolve Through Sharing (RTS) perinatal loss support. The OMH Birthing Center team comprises over 30 staff members, including Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Health Unit Clerks.
