About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – IMC / Neuro Stepdown for a night-shift assignment in a 24-bed Intermediate Care Unit. The RN will provide care to adult patients requiring close monitoring for neurological and cardiac conditions.

Requirements

• Active South Carolina or Multistate RN License (Pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of IMC / Stepdown experience
• EPIC charting experience (1+ year required)
• Required Certifications: BLS ACLS NIHSS
• Neuro & Cardiac Experience
• Neuro stepdown care
• Cardiac telemetry monitoring
• Dysrhythmia recognition and interpretation
• Post-MI care
• Post–cardiac caths and angiograms
• IV & Line Management
• IV starts
• Port access
• PICC lines
• Central & peripheral line care
• Blood product administration
• Respiratory Care
• Tracheostomy management
• Oxygen delivery systems (NC, masks, portable O₂, HFNC)
• CPAP / BiPAP
• Chest tubes (Emerson / Pleur-evac)
• ABG interpretation
• Non-invasive respiratory support
• Medication & Infusion Management
• PCA
• Procedural sedation
• Heparin protocols
• Cardiac and vasoactive drips ( no titration )
