About The Position

A 288-bed acute care hospital in Tallahassee, Florida is hiring Registered Nurses across emergency, critical care, medical-surgical, and case management departments. This posting allows candidates to apply once and be considered for the role that best aligns with their clinical background, certifications, and shift availability . Current openings include Emergency Room, Freestanding Emergency, Cardiac Surgery ICU, Med-Tele Neuro, Med-Surg Oncology, Med-Surg Orthopedic, and RN Case Management .

Requirements

• Active Florida RN license or multistate compact license
• Compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60–90 days of hire
• Graduate of an accredited ASN, RN Diploma, or BSN nursing program
• BLS certification required
• Additional role-specific certifications apply by department.
• Emergency Room (ER) RN: 1 year recent acute care ER RN experience required. Critical care background may also be considered. BLS prior to start | ACLS, PALS, and NCI within 90 days
• Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) RN: 1 year recent acute care ER RN experience required. Critical care background may also be considered. BLS prior to start | ACLS, PALS, and NCI within 90 days
• Cardiac Surgery ICU (CSICU) RN: 1+ years acute care ICU or PCU experience required. BLS required | ACLS within 6 months | NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days
• Med Telemetry / Neuro RN: 1 year recent acute care Med-Surg RN experience required. BLS current | ACLS preferred, required within 6 months
• Med-Surg Oncology RN: 1 year recent acute care Med-Surg RN experience required. BLS current | ACLS preferred, required within 6 months
• Med-Surg Orthopedic RN: 1 year recent acute care Med-Surg RN experience required. BLS current | ACLS preferred, required within 6 months
• Case Manager RN: 3 years recent acute care case management experience preferred. Also open to candidates with strong acute care backgrounds in Med-Surg, Tele, Neuro, ICU, PCU, or ED. Home health or insurance case management backgrounds may be considered with prior acute care experience

Nice To Haves

• Cardiac Surgery ICU (CSICU) RN: CCRN preferred and required within 2 years. BSN preferred
• Med Telemetry / Neuro RN: BSN preferred
• Med-Surg Oncology RN: BSN preferred
• Med-Surg Orthopedic RN: BSN preferred
• Case Manager RN: Certification in Case Management, Utilization Review, or Nursing preferred
