About The Position

Pyramid Healthcare is a nationally recognized leader in behavioral healthcare, dedicated to offering compassionate, evidence-based treatment for individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders. They are opening a brand-new treatment center in Concord, MA, specializing in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment for adults. The organization focuses on client-focused care, providing comprehensive behavioral healthcare services including psychiatry, addiction recovery, and mental disorder treatment. This position is for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct medical care and support to adult clients in the residential SUD treatment program at the new Concord, MA facility. The RN will be a key part of an interdisciplinary team, responsible for clinical assessments, detox protocols, medication management, and client education. The role involves helping to launch this new program and build a healing, recovery-focused environment from the ground up.

Requirements

Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Massachusetts
Current CPR/BLS, AED, and First Aid certification required
One year of experience in a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting preferred

Experience with detox protocols and co-occurring disorder treatment

Responsibilities

Complete nursing assessments upon admission and as needed
Administer medications and monitor client responses
Implement and monitor detoxification protocols
Conduct COWS and CIWA assessments per protocol
Provide health and medication education to clients
Collaborate with medical providers during evaluations and medication management appointments
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Ensure medical equipment is functioning properly and safely
Support a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment
Perform additional duties as assigned
