About The Position
Jan and Ed Brown Center for Pulmonary Medicine is located at 1237 Harding Place, in Charlotte, NC. We offer exceptional and state of the art pulmonary medicine care for patients of all ages. Our comprehensive services include diagnosis and treatment of cystic fibrosis, COPD, asthma, ILD, lung cancer, and more. We also offer same-day sick visits, chronic disease management, and more. Additionally, we provide specialized programs such as cystic fibrosis, interventional pulmonology, pulmonary function testing, asthma treating injections and appointments with our Pharmacist for education and maintenance. This position is for a triage nurse position, a key component to many of these services. This role oversees daily workflows for two clinical teams, supports 3 APPs, 4 physicians, and 6 clinical teammates, ensuring seamless coordination and compliance with standards. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Pulmonary or critical care nursing experience preferred
- 1 year of RN experience preferred
- Bachelor's in nursing preferred
