The Crisis Care Center provides crisis stabilization to individuals experiencing a behavioral health and/or substance use crisis, aiming to reduce pressure on law enforcement and local emergency departments. Once stabilized, individuals are linked with a community mental health provider for ongoing services. This position is a direct service provider for the Crisis Care Center, responsible for the coordination of medical, nursing, and program services for individuals with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. The individual hired will conduct initial nursing assessments of clients upon presentation to the Crisis Care Center to ensure stabilization, interpret medical information, and assist with or administer medications.
