About The Position

Position Purpose: The Crisis Nurse provides services to persons experiencing crisis and in need of immediate intervention. This position job responsibilities between three programs: Walk-In Crisis Unit, Central Recovery Center (CRC), and Adult Diversion and Stabilization (A-DAS). By assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care tailored to each patient's unique needs, you will contribute to the stabilization and recovery of those in crisis. Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing AND a minimum of one (1) year of paid behavioral health care experience OR a Registered Nurse AND a minimum of two (2) years of paid behavioral health care experience.
Current RN License from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Pre-employment physical/TB
Pre-employment drug screening, Act 33/34/73 clearances

Responsibilities

Completes medical triage and assessment
Case Management
Medication administration including the administration of long-acting injection medications
Being able to distinguish between emergent/urgent needs and ongoing clinical work
Medication Reconciliation with physicians and pharmacists.
Completes documentation in electronic medical records and utilization of varied electronic portals as needed.
Scheduling and tracking consumer appointments
Provides medication education
