Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound Ostomy
About The Position
MaineHealth is looking for a Per diem, day shift, Wound Ostomy - Registered Nurse to join our Wound Care team! Our ideal nurse would have WOCN board certification as well as a BSN (however, all applicants with experience will be considered). This position would cover either the Biddeford or Sanford wound locations with a clinical schedule of weekdays. Summary: The Registered Nurse - Wound Ostomy Care - Outpatient role serves as a wound, ostomy and continence care provider. This role provides education and consultation to meet the complex needs of wound, ostomy and continence patients and their families.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
- Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
- WOCN Board Certification preferred.
- Three years of recent acute care clinical nursing experience preferred.
