Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year Acute Care Experience, Wound Care
  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • BCLS required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient intakes, case management, and discharging patients.
  • Prioritizes and organizes delivery of nursing care or patients with advanced wounds, learn the Hyperbaric Chamber, and assist with the healing process.
  • Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
  • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Documents patient care given.
  • Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
