Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care/Hyperbaric Outpatient Clinic Bring your passion to Texas Health where we are Better+Together · Work location\: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104 · Work hours\: PRN “As Needed” 7\:30 am – 4\:00 pm- hours are dependent on the needs of the unit Department highlights: · Opportunities for educational and career growth · Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team We staff our exemplary team with wound care professionals who approach every patient, every colleague, every physician and every family member with compassion and high-quality patient care Here’s What You Need · Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or nursing diploma required. · BSN preferred · One-year experience as a clinical nurse required. · Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire · Current BLS - prior to providing independent patient care required. · 2+ years of strong Med/surg RN experience in acute care or wound care setting including charge/preceptor skills (preferred) What You Will Do · Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process · R esponsible for delivery of wound care and hyperbaric treatments as ordered by Physician. · Work with other team members to resolve patient issues. · Ensure communication with other care providers is timely, accurate, and complete. · Post-operative patient/family teaching and discharge instructions, referrals and supply needs. · Utilizes evidence-based practice to a dminister wound care. Requirements
