Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care/Hyperbaric Outpatient Clinic

· Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104
· Work hours: PRN “As Needed” 7:30 am – 4:00 pm- hours are dependent on the needs of the unit

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or nursing diploma required.
• One-year experience as a clinical nurse required.
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
• Current BLS - prior to providing independent patient care required.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• 2+ years of strong Med/surg RN experience in acute care or wound care setting including charge/preceptor skills (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• Responsible for delivery of wound care and hyperbaric treatments as ordered by Physician.
• Work with other team members to resolve patient issues.
• Ensure communication with other care providers is timely, accurate, and complete.
• Post-operative patient/family teaching and discharge instructions, referrals and supply needs.
• Utilizes evidence-based practice to administer wound care.
