About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Women’s Services Part Time/Dayshift/0.6 FTE Wage scale: $40.81 - $75.65 per hour Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. Documents patient care provided. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed. Maintains regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as assigned. Additional Information Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult. Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record. Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees. Requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
Current RN license in state of practice
BCLS required

Nice To Haves

ACLS, PALS, NRP, and Handle with Care preferred.
Oe year of experience preferred
