What You'll Do: Oversee day-to-day activities of the Rehabilitation Unit, managing nurses and certified nursing assistants to ensure high-quality resident care Assume full responsibility for residents’ nursing care, monitor conditions, follow physician orders, and apply recognized nursing techniques and standards Recognize and report changes in residents’ conditions, initiate or assist with interventions, and maintain a safe, supportive environment Instruct nursing staff on policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to administrative and clinical standards Monitor trends in nursing practices, evaluate their applicability, and implement improvements to enhance care quality

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Active, unencumbered Massachusetts RN license
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred in a Long Term Care setting, with strong clinical assessment skills
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain regulatory compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and the medical team, and represent the organization professionally

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred in a Long Term Care setting, with strong clinical assessment skills

Responsibilities
