About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) at West Boca Medical Center is responsible for providing high quality, safe, and cost-effective total nursing care to all patients, utilizing the nursing process. This role involves coordinating and integrating patient care based on the needs of the patient and their family members. The RN must direct care according to established standards of safety, risk management, and infection control, with the ultimate goal of discharging patients with an optimum level of care. The position requires the RN to utilize evidence-based practice in accordance with professional standards and to adhere strictly to the Florida State Nurse Practice Act. Key duties include reviewing orders/test results and accurately and timely documenting care delivered in the electronic health record. Responsibilities
- Provide high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursing process
- Assume responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on need of the patient and family members
- Direct care according to established standards of safety, risk management, Infection control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided
- Utilize evidence-based practice in accordance with professional standards and adhere to the Florida State Nurse Practice Act
- Review orders/test results and document care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record
