Registered Nurse (RN) - Richmond Emergency Room (ER) Float Pool
About The Position
This position is for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Richmond ER Float Pool at Bon Secours. RNs in this role will float to various Emergency Rooms and free-standing ERs within the Richmond Market, including St Mary's Pediatric and Adult ER, Short Pump Free Standing ER, Memorial Regional ER, St. Francis ER, Chester Free Standing ER, Westchester Free Standing ER, Colonial Heights Free Standing ER, and Southside Medical Center ER. The role offers flexibility with 36 hours a week and self-scheduling options. It requires working one summer and one winter holiday, and every third weekend. It is a full-time night shift position with shift differential available for night and weekend shifts. Experienced RNs may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association required
- Two or more years clinical RN experience required in ER
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Provide advanced treatment and care to patients with complex diagnoses
- Evaluates, updates and revises plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes
- Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and Bon Secours policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
