More about our team

Our Rehabilitation unit is 17-beds, and our team provides direct patient care to
patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and
standards of practice and reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

Requirements

• Applicants should have a current state or compact state RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
• Licenses: Must have a current state or compact state RN license.
• Education: Associate's degree required.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), PALS, Handle with Care Preferred
• Experience: One-year previous experience preferred
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties as assigned and requested.
• Completes focused patient assessments and reassessments based on patient’s condition, procedures, medications, and treatments.
• Adequately assesses and reassesses pain; utilizes appropriate pain management techniques.
• Provides patient care and communicates effectively with patients of all ages and with specific needs.
• Demonstrates knowledge of medications and ensures correct administration following the six rights to minimize medication errors.
• Assists physicians with procedures and provides services requiring technical and manual skills.
• Performs treatments and delivers care within licensure scope.
• Ensures patient safety by performing all aspects of care in an environment that reduces the likelihood of errors.
• Operates and manages equipment safely and correctly.
• Educates patients and families on disease processes and recovery expectations.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
