About The Position
Registered Nurse (RN) - Radiology Care Unit Casual position - commitment to (2) shifts in a 4-week schedule Shifts are 8-hour, 10-hour and/or 12-hour shifts Trained for On-call Weekend & Holiday commitment per department guidelines The scope of services on the Radiology Care Unit (RCU) encompasses a variety of diagnoses/ testing including, but not limited to, paracentesis, CT guided biopsies, Fluoro guided LP/myelograms, US guided biopsies, CT guided drain placement including monitoring and recovery of general anesthesia and moderate sedation. Requirements
- BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire
- BLS and ACLS required
- At least two years of experience in acute care (prefer Critical Care, Stepdown, ED or PACU areas) required
- PALS preferred - must get within 6 months
- IV Certified preferred
- Moderate sedation experience preferred
- Current nursing licensure in the State of Delaware of compact state required
