About The Position

Psychiatric ED Unit Highlights Specialized psychiatric emergency unit, located within the Main ED. Patient are triaged through the Main ED & brought to crisis unit if psychiatric care is needed. RNs care for them & complete assessments as the patients wait for evaluations. Adult & pediatric patients are treated. Security has a strong partnership & presence with the unit. Staffed with psychiatric counselors and RNs. Cross-training to adult inpatient psychiatric and Child & Adolescent Psych Unit provided. Available Roles: Part Time Nights: two 12-hour shifts and every 3rd weekend (full benefits) Key Responsibilities As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs-from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
