About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The professional Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the delivery of Surgical Services skilled, high quality care for all patient groups; for assisting in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating nursing practice in accordance with the departments’ philosophy of nursing goals and objectives. He/she demonstrates a high degree of critical thinking, technical skill, initiative, integrity, accuracy and nursing judgment in an interdisciplinary practice. Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

0-3 months EXPERIENCE
Completion of Surgical Services Day Care RN Skills/Equipment Checklist within six months of hire.
Active California RN license
Healthcare Provider BLS
ACLS within 6 months of hire
PALS within one year of assuming position
