Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Partum
About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in this Post Partum role provides holistic, quality, and cost-effective nursing care to patients and their families within a specific unit or service. The RN applies the nursing process according to the organization's Framework for Professional Practice, functions as clinically competent, and appropriately delegates and supervises work.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut RN License
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school ASN Required
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to date of hire
- One year nursing experience required
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
- Maternal/Newborn experience preferred
- Previous maternity experience preferred
- Experience in Women's Health or postoperative care desired

- Provides holistic, quality and cost-effective nursing care for patients/families and/or others for a patient population within a unit, service or other primary area of practice with an awareness of the episode of care
