About The Position
Kidney Associates of Kansas City is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to support our physicians and nurse practitioners in managing patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who is passionate about patient care, interested in learning more about managing chronic illness, and seeking a consistent weekday schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities .
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Strong passion for patient-centered care
- Excellent critical thinking and clinical judgment
- Motivated and eager to learn
Nice To Haves
- Experience with chronic care in a hospital or outpatient setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Communicate with patients and other healthcare providers via phone
- Coordinate care and manage patients with renal disease and multiple chronic illnesses
- Independently assess emergent health issues and communicate concerns to physicians
- Provide patient education to support disease management and treatment adherence
