Join the team as an RN on the Pediatric Med/Surg IMC unit (Unit 6) at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. This hospital is nationally recognized, ranking on U.S. News & World Report’s annual “Best Children’s Hospitals” list for 17 consecutive years, and is the only academic children’s hospital in Minnesota. Located in Minneapolis, the hospital provides a broad range of pediatric programs including surgery, imaging, neonatal and pediatric intensive care, and cardiac services. The Pediatric Med/Surg IMC unit specifically cares for pediatric cardiac, solid organ (heart) transplant, infectious disease, CF, pulmonary, general medical/surgical, ENT, trauma, and orthopedic patients and their families. The unit has 24 beds and serves patients ranging from infants to young adults. This intermediate care unit (IMC) offers a challenging environment for critical care nursing, focusing on patients with complex, multi-system health issues.
