About The Position

The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the perioperative setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable in all surgical procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned timelines. Requirements

  • Current state RN License
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider and ACLS and PALS required upon hire
  • Must complete moderate sedation course within 3 months of hire
  • Two (2) years of clinical experience
  • Two (2) years of experience in surgical or procedural setting

Nice To Haves

  • BSN Preferred
  • CAPA or CPAN Certification preferred
  • Cardiac Monitoring experience preferred
