Requirements
- A diploma/degree from an accredited nursing school (a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, or agreement to enroll within six months of employment)
- A license (RN) to practice in Maryland or the ability to obtain a Maryland license based on timeframe of licensing board
- One - two years of clinical nursing experience strongly preferred; new nurse graduates considered with practicum, or technician experience in acute care
- Healthcare Provider-Level CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Our Registered Nurses in Oncology independently provide care to adult patients, with focus on surgical and gynecologic oncologic specialties.
- Our Registered Nurses can be certified in ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy administration and OCN.
- Working with a dedicated team, the Registered Nurse provides evidence-based, high quality care, including patient assessment and treatment, and serves as a resource for other team members.
