About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Nurse Educator for a 13-week contract assignment in New York, NY. The Nurse Educator plays a vital role in supporting clinical excellence by developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for nursing staff and students. This position focuses on staff development, compliance, and the integration of evidence-based practices to enhance patient care quality and safety.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State of New York)
• Previous experience in nursing education or staff development
• Strong knowledge of clinical standards and evidence-based practice
• Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement orientation and ongoing education programs for nursing staff
• Create and update training materials and curricula
• Conduct in-service training sessions and competency assessments
• Mentor and support nursing staff to promote professional growth
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Introduce and promote evidence-based practice initiatives
• Collaborate with leadership to identify educational needs and performance gaps
• Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements
