About The Position
Seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN to provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. The RN will be responsible for cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Minimum 18 months permanent MS/Tele experience prior to travel
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact license
- AHA BLS & ACLS certifications (required)
- Must obtain NIHSS prior to start
- One recent professional reference (manager/supervisor/director level; Charge RN accepted)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Perform patient assessments and care planning
- Collaborate with healthcare teams for coordinated care
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with protocols
