About The Position

Position Summary The RN Data Set Coordinator is an integral part of the interdisciplinary team who functions as a liaison between the patient, family, and staff. Coordinates all aspects of Federal regulatory data set completion assuring accuracy and adherence to mandated completion times. Provides and understand the specific communication, development, treatment needs of patients, families, and visitors ranging in age from early adult to late adult.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with a current license to practice in South Carolina
• 1 - 2 years of healthcare experience
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina

Nice To Haves

• Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing
• 3 or greater years of healthcare experience
• 1 - 2 years CMS Assessment Tool experience
• MDS Certification

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining an up-to-date data set manual, reviewing, and revising of the data set policies and procedures, as appropriate
• Ensures the completion of necessary documentation by all disciplines for the completion of the patients data set
• Maintains clinical knowledge through journal review, conferences and software programs
• Participates in quality assessment performance improvement process
• Complies with departmental and hospital institutional standards
