About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join an acute care team in Bronx, NY. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective clinical outcomes in compliance with all regulatory and hospital standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience administering and monitoring conscious sedation
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program
• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Primary Source Verification of RN license and registration through NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), if required by assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical/Surgical patients in an acute care setting
• Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy as required
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation in accordance with established protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver optimal patient care
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety standards
