About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is hiring a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. This role focuses on caring for pre- and post-surgical patients while ensuring safe, efficient, and compassionate treatment.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Active New York RN License
- AHA BLS Certification
- AHA ACLS Certification (as required)
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care and monitor patient conditions
- Develop and update individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely
- Perform clinical procedures (IVs, catheterization, wound care)
- Monitor vital signs and report changes promptly
- Maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems
- Educate patients and families on care and recovery
- Collaborate with healthcare teams for coordinated care
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines
