About The Position
Abdominal Transplant & Hepatology is a 32-bed inpatient Medical-Surgical unit with a national reputation for Intra-abdominal Transplants (Liver, Kidney and Pancreas), Hepatology, Vascular Surgery and Pulmonary Pre/Post Transplant, with all private rooms. Specific patient diagnoses include ETOH cirrhosis, NASH, hepatitis, cystic fibrosis, vascular disease, and liver/kidney/pancreas/lung post-transplant care. Nursing works with the multidisciplinary team of with physicians, pharmacy, physical & occupational therapy, social work/case management, and nutrition to assist the patient and family in their psychosocial and emotional well-being during their stay. Requirements
- A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
- BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
- Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
