About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) – LTC provides comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting. This role focuses on medication administration, patient monitoring, and delivering compassionate care to patients with chronic conditions, including Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Requirements
- Active RN license (state-specific, required at submission)
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- BLS certification
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Local candidates only
- No schedule changes or additional time-off requests after offer
Nice To Haves
- Experience in LTC setting
- Experience in rehab, med-surg, or hospital settings
- Familiarity with PointClickCare
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and perform medication passes accurately
- Provide direct patient care in a long-term care setting
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the care team
- Assist in developing and implementing care plans
- Support patients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other chronic conditions
- Maintain accurate documentation using systems such as PointClickCare
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards
