About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents, including those with Alzheimer’s and dementia, in a structured and supportive environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred but not required
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient care skills
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- Active New York State RN License (Required at submission)
- BLS Certification (AHA) – Required
- Experience in LTC, Rehabilitation, Medical-Surgical, or hospital settings accepted
Nice To Haves
- Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses (Med Pass)
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition
- Deliver specialized care for residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ensure adherence to facility protocols and patient safety standards
