About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Lactation Consultant Program Coordinator for a 13-week travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA. This position is responsible for providing expert assessment, treatment, consultation, planning and leadership oversight for optimal lactation management in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. For patients with advanced lactation support needs, the consultant will formulate an interdisciplinary plan of care and communicate with the care team related to these goals and plans.

Requirements

  • 1+ years experience as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (BCLC)
  • A MINIMUM of 2500 hours as a breast-feeding consultant
  • Experience with inpatient lactation programs
  • Outpatient prenatal and postpartum lactation education, consultations and/or teaching experience
  • Certs must be in hand at profile upload and included in profile
  • Perm address must be included with profile
  • Active American Heart Association BLS
  • Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • MA Licensed (RN, OT, PT, SLP OR PHARMACIST)
  • AGENCY Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) license up front with all Berkshire Health System nursing submissions
