Registered Nurse - RN - Labor and Delivery (L&D) – Part-time - Days At New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, Women's Health nurses have created a supportive, compassionate environment for all phases of ante- through post-partum care. From obstetrics and gynecology to ante- and postpartum care, our nurses specialize in a myriad of Women's Health areas. We house one of few facilities in the region equipped to help high acuity mothers AND babies on-site. Our Center for Reproductive Medicine has success rates among the world's highest. This is a part-time (8 shifts per month) day shift (7:30AM - 8:00PM) located at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, rotating weekends and alternating holidays.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current New York State RN license
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification from National Certification Corporation (NCC) (required within a year of hire)
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) (or willingness to obtain) from NCC
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) from American Academy Pediatrics
