Registered Nurse - RN - Labor and Delivery (L&D) – Full-time - Nights At New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, Women's Health nurses have created a supportive, compassionate environment for all phases of ante- through post-partum care. Mothers and babies start their journey here with expert nurses at their side and the finest resources at their command. From obstetrics and gynecology to ante- and postpartum care, our nurses specialize in a myriad of Women's Health areas. We house one of few facilities in the region equipped to help high acuity mothers AND babies on-site. Our Center for Reproductive Medicine has success rates among the world's highest. We're home to New York's first Center for Endometriosis Treatment and Research, and many more progressive initiatives. This is a full-time night shift (7:30PM - 8:00AM) located at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, rotating weekends and alternating holidays. Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current New York State RN license
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification from National Certification Corporation (NCC) (required within a year of hire)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) from American Academy Pediatrics
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) (or willingness to obtain) from NCC
