About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate contract opportunity at a major acute care facility in Brooklyn, NY. Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU / Critical Care nursing experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with conscious sedation
- Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
- Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification via NYSED required)
- Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive critical care nursing services in an ICU setting
- Perform and assist with conscious sedation procedures
- Initiate and manage IV insertions and phlebotomy
- Continuously monitor and assess critically ill patients
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain strict adherence to patient safety and clinical protocols
