About The Position

is seeking an
experienced Emergency Room RN to join our team. Come be a part of our expansion
in the Eastern Region of Northern Virginia!

Full-Time, Mid Shifts 11am-11pm & 1pm-1am. During orientation will rotate
through all shifts (Days, Mids, and Nights).

Inova Health Center – Oakville is our brand-new state-of-the-art health care
facility in Alexandria, VA. Located in the Potomac Yard neighborhood, this
outpatient facility includes a full-service emergency room, ambulatory surgery,
imaging services, primary care and other medical offices.

Oakville Features:

Full-service emergency room open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a
year
Staffed by board-certified emergency medicine physicians and specialized
nurses
Treating patients of all ages, in any emergency
Advanced technology including CT scans, ultrasounds, X-rays, and laboratory
testing

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities:

Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination
through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery
team.
Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.

Requirements

• Requires a minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
• BLS from American Heart Association
• Proficient in English.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others
• Proficient computer skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Strongly prefer 2 year plus of ED RN experience.
• CEN/ACLS certification desired
