Requirements

• Current state RN license
• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school
• BCLS; ACLS & PALS per unit specific requirements
• At least one year of critical care experience

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Performs House Supervisor responsibilities as needed to meet the needs of the facility.
• Delegate and coordinate nursing care throughout the hospital and ensure that quality nursing care is delivered.
• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
