About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides direct and individualized nursing care to patients across multiple clinical settings. This role requires demonstrated competency in at least two of the following three primary nursing areas: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg), and Emergency Room (ER). The RN is responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The RN responds quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment, initiates the computerized Plan of Care on admission, and performs general nursing duties across departments under appropriate supervision as needed.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Evidence of continuing education is appropriate for skill level and area of practice.
  • Current RN license in the State of Oregon; BLS, ACLS and PALS
  • None.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN, MSN
  • Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN), Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), and/or Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN).
  • Previous Medical-Surgical nursing

Responsibilities

  • Incorporate guest relations in daily activities
  • Provide care appropriate to the patient's age-specific, cultural, physical, and psychosocial well-being
  • Support the hospital mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures
  • Participate in required education for DNV programs as applicable to position (reference program education curriculum)
  • Maintain current knowledge and skills through continuing education and professional development
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
