About The Position
MedStar Harbor Hospital Float Pool Summary Float to a variety of core acute care units (Med Surg Tele, Neuro, IMC, ICU and ED Boarders) at MedStar Harbor Hospital, a community-based magnet hospital in southeast Baltimore City. Requirements
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- 2+ years of RN experience required; at least 2+ years of acute care RN experience strongly preferred.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross) within 90 days after starting; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
Responsibilities
- As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs-from routine to highly complex.
- You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
- Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team
