Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Bring your passion to Texas Health So we are Better + Together! Work location\: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231 Work hours\: Full Time/Days (7A-7P); Variable shifts; Weekend and holiday requirements Float Pool RNs may float between multiple departments Float Pool Department Highlights: · Working with a Multi-Disciplinary Team · Work with ill patients and provide lifesaving care · The opportunity to work with a diverse patient population · The opportunity to work with cutting-edge medical technology and equipment

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or
• Associate’s degree in nursing required or
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.
• 1 year of ICU experience as a Registered Nurse strongly preferred
• RN – Registered upon hire required and
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required
• NRPA – Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program for staff floating to areas where they will be delivering care and resuscitating neonates within 90 days required
• A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of ICU experience as a Registered Nurse strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
