About The Position

Centinela Hospital Medical Center, a 362-bed acute-care hospital and member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Services. Requirements

Current and valid CA RN License
BCLS, ACLS upon hire and maintain current
PALS required within 30 days from date of hire
EDAP and EDAP II, or ENPC required within six (6) months from date of hire
Training on Violence in the Workplace prevention within 90 days from date of hire
Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital or E.R setting preferred

Responsibilities

Directly accountable for the care given to patients in the Emergency Department
Communicates with the physician about the changes in the patients clinical condition including results of the diagnostic studies and symptomatology
Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in the condition and/or response to treatment
Knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and reporting of child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies
