About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to respond effectively to emergency situations.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
  • At least 1 year of ER travel experience required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – required
  • Strong skills in IV therapy, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English

Nice To Haves

  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • De-escalation certification

Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments (physical, psychological, and social)
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Provide guidance and support to ancillary staff
  • Function in a charge nurse role when required
  • Utilize electronic health records and nursing informatics systems
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and deliver excellent customer service
  • Support patient and family education
