About The Position

Up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus Make an immediate impact in a fast-paced emergency care environment. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Care Center at Decatur Memorial Hospital, you’ll provide life-saving care, coordinate treatments and support patients during critical moments. Work alongside a skilled team where every decision matters and every second counts. What You’ll Do: Provide expert emergency nursing care, rapidly assessing and stabilizing patients in critical conditions. Work collaboratively with emergency physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement fast, effective treatment plans. Administer life-saving interventions, including medications, IV fluids and advanced resuscitation techniques. Support trauma response efforts, assisting in high-acuity cases and critical procedures. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions and preventive care strategies. Education, Licensures & Certifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program Licensed RN in Illinois Current BLS/CPR certification ACLS and PALS certification required per policy Experience: Emergency nursing, trauma or critical care experience preferred Strong decision-making skills in high-stress situations Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Deliver urgent and critical care following emergency protocols and best practices. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Licensed RN in Illinois
Current BLS/CPR certification
ACLS and PALS certification required per policy
Emergency nursing, trauma or critical care experience preferred
Strong decision-making skills in high-stress situations
