About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (CVPICU). In this role, you will provide specialized, high-acuity care to critically ill pediatric cardiac patients. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required
- Completion of a Nurse Residency Program (for new graduates) – Required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Required
- Strong knowledge of critical care nursing practices
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in PICU or CVPICU – Preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric and cardiac patients
- Continuously monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to emergencies
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed patient documentation
- Educate and support patients’ families regarding treatment plans and care
- Ensure compliance with established clinical protocols and safety standards
