Coordinate the clinical patient care of surgical services. Serve as a technical or functional resource for staff and perform similar patient care duties. Assign, monitor and review progress of work. Monitor and report compliance with policies and procedures. Coordinate shift operations including scheduling, assigned activities, and resources. Evaluate and oversee orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance. Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND professional licensure at time of hire required.
