About The Position
The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading healthcare system to hire Registered Nurses for a high -acuity Critical Care / Step -Down Unit. This unit cares for a complex patient population including cardiothoracic, post -surgical, and telemetry patients—offering exposure to ICU -level skills in a structured, team -driven environment.
Requirements
- RN license (WI or compact eligible)
- BLS required, ACLS preferred
- Open to new grads and experienced nurses
- Comfortable in a fast -paced, high -acuity environment
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients requiring higher acuity monitoring (drips, chest tubes, central lines)
- Collaborate with a strong interdisciplinary team in a fast -paced setting
- Manage frequent admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Deliver patient -centered care with a focus on safety and outcomes
