About The Position
The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading healthcare system to hire Registered Nurses for a high-acuity Critical Care / Step-Down Unit. This unit cares for a complex patient population including cardiothoracic, post-surgical, and telemetry patients—offering exposure to ICU-level skills in a structured, team-driven environment.
Requirements
- RN license (WI or compact eligible)
- BLS required
- Open to new grads and experienced nurses
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Nice To Haves
- ACLS preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients requiring higher acuity monitoring (drips, chest tubes, central lines)
- Collaborate with a strong interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting
- Manage frequent admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Deliver patient-centered care with a focus on safety and outcomes
